Our USPCAS-W Exchange program provides the opportunity for an approximately 15 exceptional Mehran University of Engineering and Technology students and faculty to study at the University of Utah and Colorado State University for one semester.
This rigorous Exchange is focused on preparing the next generation of water professionals to help Pakistan achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation for All.
The program offers technical training, non-technical training and cross-cultural experiences and provides a well-rounded education to support the development of a complete engineer.
Participants are encouraged to take ownership of their intellectual and professional development through the many opportunities available on campus and throughout the program.
USPCAS-W Exchange Scholars participate in a rigorous program of study with a four-part focus:

Students participating in the exchange program fill out a “goal setting worksheet” at the beginning of the program. With the guidance of their mentors, they set goals in the seven areas listed below. The students share ways in which they will work on improving in each area, moving toward self-driven excellence.
Throughout the semester, students are asked to assess their progress, along with continuing to work with mentors and others involved in the project to advance in each goal area and achieve their objectives.
